Hi, I was recently listening to your podcast interview with j Doyne farmer which I found to be very informative. In last week’s wsj there was article written by j Doyne farmer who claims green tech growth is exponential. He cited that solar power is 10,000 times cheaper then when it was first used in a nasa mission in the 1970s. He also cited landlines vs. cell phones. The fact that in less then 20 years most people have gotten rid of their landlines for cell phones. Around the same time I was reading Charles Murray book long hard road: the lithium-ion battery and the electric car. I think it would be safe to assume that Murray would of called j Doyne farmer’s type of thinking “Moore’s curse” being that Moore’s law only applies to electrics for example for washing machines it doesn’t. So is j Doyne farmer wrong when states that green tech growth is exponential not linear?
