I always look forward to your articles and especially the links you recommend. this installment is no exception. The article about Adam Osborne was fascinating. I just have a question why don’t iPhones fall victim to “the Osborne effect”?

This might seem like a random question but I was recently reading an article in the economist entitled “why it’s hard to write a good book about the tech world” the economist’s conclusion is “blame insularity, secrecy and timing.” Do you think that is a valid reason. And also can you recommend a good book about the tech world?

Not sure I have any insight into your question and I’m partial to older tech world history books, but one I really enjoyed is "Steve Jobs & the NeXT Big Thing" by Randall Stross
